The towers of Trosky Castle are 1 hour drive from Prague. The ruins of this gothic castle are set in the beautiful landscape of north-east Bohemia called Cesky Raj (Bohemian Paradise).
The castle was built in the 14th century. There are two towers, the lower one of 47m called Baba and the higher one of 57m called Panna. The castle is accessible on foot. The entrance to the castle is aprx. 10 minutes walk from parking area.

If you are looking for a short trip to Prague surroundings, a visit to Dobris and its rococo chateau is a good tip. The chateau is easily accessible, has a wide mirror hall (220 square meters) and a well-kept French Park. Visitors can reach Dobris from Prague by car in 40 minutes. Great views on Vltava and Berounka river can be added to the itinerary for a full day trip to the hilly area of Brdy.
