I had both lens replaced in March 2018 and I cannot believe what a difference it has made.
I had the trifocal lens because I wore contact lens but still needed glasses for reading and varifocal glasses when I wasn't wearing my contact lens, now I don't need any of these which is lovely, it's great not having to take glasses everywhere and I can read tiny writing which is unbelievable. I am still getting halo's around lights but that is to be expected as it was only 3 weeks ago I had them done. I took the package and everyone involved looked after me .l also met lots of other people and we all agreed on how nice everyone was from the driver who picked us up from the airport right up the surgeon. I would recommend the Praga Medica to anyone.Janet Symons, East YorksMarch 25, 2018

ReLEx SMILE is most suitable for short-sighted people and people with astigmatismus. This method allows to treat higher myopic prescriptions than LASIK.
Only 3 days are necessary for the surgery. Both eyes are operated on the same day, preceded by a thorough preoperative eye examination.
ReLEx smile has the benefits of using only one femtosecond laser hence one single-step, one integrated procedure.
In a single step, the VisuMax creates a refractive lenticule and a small incision of less than 4 mm in the intact cornea - virtually regardless of the ambient conditions or corneal structure.
The lenticule is removed through the small incision. The deterioration of the biomechanics of the cornea is minimal. No flap is cut.
The removal of the lenticule changes the shape of the cornea, creating the required change to the refraction.
