High quality Zimmer hip implants are used. Zweymuller, Smith Nephew are also available on patient's request.
When implanting an artificial hip joint we are able to perform 2 different surgical techniques. The first is a conventional implantation with the cut of length of 15-25 cm, the other so-called mini-invasive, with the cut of the length of only 7-10 cm. The mini-invasive method is friendlier to the muscles and tissues around the hip joint. However, the use of mini-invasive hip replacement technique is decided by the surgeon, not the patient. The mini-invasive procedure is simply not suitable and safe for everyone.
