In what time is the other eye operated on?

In case of intraocular surgeries such as ICL, RLE, Cataract surgery and RLE multifocal (PRELEX), the other eye is usually operated on the second day after the 1st surgery. If your first surgery is on Wednesday, your second eye is operated on Friday.

You can also opt to have your second eye operated after a longer break. Please bear in mind that examinations done prior to the first surgery are valid only limited time and may need to be re-done if you wait too long.

If you have a really important reason for that and the condition of your eyes is not an obstacle, we can imagine to treat both of your eyes with non-laser surgery on the same day in exceptional and justified cases. In the case of laser surgery, we treat both eyes at once in 99% of cases.
