Dr. Baran has practical experience in plastic surgery acquired during study of assistance in plastic surgery in a private plastic and aesthetic surgery facility in Prague. Following completion, he worked as a secondary physician at the Surgery Department of Masaryk Hospital in Rakovník and then joined the Burn and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic in Šaca. He is currently in post-graduate studies in experimental surgery at the 1st Faculty of Medicine at Charles University under the supervision of doc. MUDr. Ján Měšťák Csc.
Dr. Baran completed his long-term practical training at Vinohrady University Hospital in Prague at the plastic surgery clinic, with a focus on plastic and reconstruction surgery, in a highly specialised institute for hand surgery in Vysoká nad Jizerou. He did his short-term internship at multiple Aesthetic Surgery workplaces in Bologna, Paris, Warsaw and Prague. He participates in authoring of publications on aesthetic liposuction and publications devoted to first aid, and is an author and co-author publishes in domestic and foreign professional publications.
In his free time, he focuses on voluntary educational activities of the Slovak Red Cross, where he holds an a second-degree award “for humanity, sacrifice and volunteering”.
