I would have no hesitation in recommending this company. I made the initial enquiry in March and spoke with Veronika was extremely helpful and efficient in responding to my queries. I travelled with a friend and we were met at the airport by Veronika and then taken to our Apartment. We stayed the Andel apartments which were in a great location and only a 5 minute walk from the Clinic. The first morning Veronika met with us and came with us to the hospital, it was then I met with my surgeon Dr Padera and had my consultation. Everyone at the clinic including the surgeon were fantastic and made me feel totally at ease, the Clinic itself is immaculate. The procedure went extremely well and two weeks on I am ecstatic with the results. Like most people I felt uneasy about going abroad for surgery, but there was honestly nothing to worry about, in fact we are going back in September for my friend’s surgery.

Myself and my husband contact Praga Medica Agency in Czech Republic. Zdenek, our co-ordinator direct us to the Gest clinic in Prague for IUI treatment.

Zdenek book our 1st appointment with the clinic. We were seen by Dr Alexander. When we arrive at the clinic, we were greet by Dr Alexander. He explain the procedure of what we expect in the next five days of the treatment. i’ll gonna have two inseminations within 48 hours. What myself and my husband were really appreciated of Dr Alexander, that he told us before the treatment, that chances are 10% for IUI treatment. Which was a big difference of other agencies offering (34%-most likely over exaggerated) Zdenek also came to the clinic.

He offer ua a lift back to the city which was very nice from him. Unfortunately, our IUI treatment wasn’t successful. But, overall, we had a positive experience with the clinic in Prague.

We’re definitely going back again and have another try with the IUI.

My husband and I just celebrated our 6th anniversary this year — I mean REALLY celebrating, because this year our dreams came true with the help of Praga Medica. Last year, we had pretty much given up on our hopes for a child of our own. We heard about Praga Medica and made an telephone appointment with Dr. Alexander via coordinator Zdenek. The course of action that he recommended for our situation was IVF with an egg donor. Upon making the decision to go forward, Zdenek immediately began providing us with all of the information that we needed to begin our journey. It was overwhelming at first, but Zdenek was there every time to answer all of our questions and help us prepare for the procedure. I looked forward to my visits, knowing that Praga Medica had a true understanding of what I was going through. I have already posted a testimonial about my eye surgery. My dental surgery included replacing an eight toothed bridge with a new ten toothed bridge including implants. Very complex and currently waiting to return to Prague for the last phase to be completed in three months time. The quality of the temporary bridge is outstanding.

Thank you Zdenek. You were invaluable. We were booked in for IVF treatment and although the treatment was unsuccessful, the clinic had all the mod cons and expertise. Zdenek was the contact person who replied to emails very promptly and was amazing during the visit in terms of information and just his general ease and friendliness, which gave great reassurance. Zdenek explained everything to us, translated from the specalists, and was on call for any queries during our stay. The clinic staff have limited English so it was thanks to Zdenek that we found the experience satisfactory. Praga Medica did ask me if it would be ok for you to contact me and I have to say that I’ve been delighted with both the service from Praga Medica and the eye clinic.  We arrived in Prague on Sunday 15th May 2011 and left on Tuesday 24th May 2011.

Firstly:- Praga Medica.

I, like you, was quite apprehensive about what to expect. Zdenek met us from the plane, took us to the hotel, gave us a mobile phone with some credit on it, gave us tram tickets for the following morning visit, accompanied us to the eye doctor, who  gave me a full optical examination and an ECG and a full blood test.  He then took us to show the location of the eye clinic which would do the operation the following morning, and then took us to the dentist and then made the introduction.  We used the mobile once simply to arrange a time to pick us up and take us to the airport.

I can’t fault this young man for his enthusiasm, his manner and his professionalism  – 10 out of 10.

Secondly:-  the eye clinic

I arrived at 10.30 for the op. on Tuesday 17th May – had a check-up the following day and full optical examination and a final check-up on Monday 23rd. May 2011.   Very friendly staff – modern equipment – lots of young people.

1 1/2 hrs later having had the op. in a theatre with ultra modern equipment and very efficient.

With regard to the lens I chose, my vision in my right eye is excellent, and I chose just the standard clear lens as it seems to be the lens which causes least troubles, so I still need to use reading glasses. Within 4 hours my vision was 90 % clear and 100% within 36 hours.   I have to score them 10 out of 10 as well.

If you want to know about the dentist please email me back but I can tell you it was just as good. I made a saving of about €1700 over the eye and teeth which paid for a great holiday.

If you need any more information don’t hesitate but be assured this is the best you’ll get.

“The operated eye is working OK after 3 weeks, but might need some adjustment for astigmatism. I am very pleased with the way my extra problem was handled – I will go back this summer to have my other eye operated as well.”

A bit difficult to describe, but I will try: -Plan was to change both eyes to multifocal prelex -Before starting the lense exchange the doc. discovered that my left eye had an unusual cataract or something else and the operation was not performed -Very quickly next morning I was helped into the public hospital which had all the special equipment and the staff to check it out. Nothing dangerous was found and I went through the operation later. The operated eye is working OK after 3 weeks, but might need some adjustment for astigmatism. I am very pleased with the way my extra problem was handled – I will go back this summer to have my other eye operated as well.
