Description of Rhinoplasty with Septoplasty abroad in Prague, Czech Republic:

Shape deviations of the nose can be congenital or acquired as a result of an injury. Rhinoplasty with Septoplasty can improve the shape of the nose, but it can also modify breathing. The surgery is carried out after the termination of growth and of puberty, in order not to disturb the patient’s development and growth. The surgery can reduce prominent nose bumps, reshape the tip of the nose, narrow the nose, straighten the aberrated nasal partition, and improve breathing due to these operations. The entire surgery is carried out from the cuts in the nostrils, so no scars are visible after the surgery. This plastic surgery is carried out under general anaesthesia, during hospitalisation lasting 1 – 2 days.

Specifics of Septoplasty surgery abroad:

Not only cosmetic defects are the reason for nose operation. Very often we meet clients, who also have a septal defect (aberration). Common practice can't prove aesthetic and helath problem at once and client must undergo operation of septal defect at first and then have a second operation - aesthetis surgery. Recovery After Rhinoplasty with Septoplasty in Czech Republic:

After Rhinoplasty with Septoplasty, a plaster is applied onto the nose, and there is nasal packing in the nostrils, which is to be removed in two days. Until then, the patient uses his/her mouth for breathing. The patient can remove the nasal packing himself/herself by removing the cover attached under the nose by a patch and using tweezers to pull the end of the packing out slowly. It is then suitable to clean the edges of the nostrils daily with a verricule soaked in a disinfectant solution. The plaster is kept on the nose for 14 days. The patient does not remove or soak the plaster during that time.

After 14 days, the plaster is taken off (by a doctor, or the patient himself/herself), and the nose can be washed. The plaster is then applied onto the nose at night, for the period of one week, to prevent accidental injuries during sleep. After the plaster is removed, the patient carries out nose massages by using two fingers of one hand to take the tip of the nose, exerting pressure for 30 seconds, releasing the pressure afterwards, and repeating the massage at a different place on the nose, in the direction of the nose root. This pressure massage of the entire nose, from the tip to the root, is carried out 10-15 times a day for a period of one month. The massages prevent the creation of scars, and they relieve the skin. The result can only be evaluated several months after the surgery.

A state of rest is recommended for a period of one week after the Rhinoplasty with Septoplasty surgery abroad. The patient can carry out office work as early as a week after the surgery, but nevertheless, s/he must bear in mind that there will still be a plaster on the nose. Greater physical strain and sports activities can be carried out 3 weeks after the Rhinoplasty with Septoplasty surgery.
