Forehead lift
Description of Forehead lift cosmetic surgery abroad in Prague:
Forehead lift plastic surgery abroad helps flatten the wrinkles in the forehead area and lift fallen eyebrows, which move down with age, and give a sad appearance to the eyes. Forehead lifting in Prague is carried out either in a classical way, or endoscopically.
Concerning the classical version of Forehead lift plastic surgery abroad, the incision is made in the hairy part of the head, above the forehead, and gradually the entire skin is released, up to the root of the nose. After interrupting the facial muscles which cause the wrinkles in the forehead area, we stretch the relieved skin, and remove the excess. The resulting scar is hidden in the hair, so that it is cosmetically acceptable.
The endoscopic surgeries are carried out using optics allowing for the use of surgical tools from small incisions in the hair. The plastic surgery of the forehead abroad is carried out under general anaesthesia, with hospitalisation lasting for 1 - 2 days.
Post-surgery care after Forehead lift aborad in Czech Republic:
Following the classical forehead cosmetic surgery aborad, the bandage around the forehead is kept on for 5 days. Then the patient takes the bandage off, and s/he can wash her/his hair. The bandage is not necessary afterwards. The stitches are taken out of the hair on the 14th day after the Forehead lift cosmetic surgery.
Following the endoscopic cosmetic surgery abroad, there is also a bandage around the head. The patient removes the bandage on the 5th day after the Forehead lift surgery. It is possible to wash the hair carefully, but then the bandage must be put back around the forehead. The patient can wash his/her hair twice a week, and we recommend keeping the bandage on for 14 days altogether. There are cuts in the incision points within the hair, under the bandage, which are sealed by stitches. The skin, which was pulled up from the forehead towards the back of the head, forms a dermal fold in the upper part of the head, fixed by a long stitch lead under the skin and knotted in the back part of the head over a tampon.
14 days after the Forehead lift plastic surgery abroad, the patient can remove the bandage for good, but leaves the tampons, fixed by stitches. Three weeks later, the stitch on the tampon is cut, and the stitch is taken out by pulling the tampon. The stitch is about 15 cm long. The stitches are removed by the operating doctor. In case the Forehead lift patient cannot come for the re-bandaging, s/he will remove the stitches herself/himself.
Office work is possible as early as the 5th day after the Forehead lift plastic surgery abroad, provided there is bandage around the head. The Forehead lift patient, however, keeps in a state of rest, without any unnecessary forward bending. Physical strain is possible 3 weeks later after the cosmetic surgery abroad.
