- Which is better, PRK or LASEK?
- LASEK and epiLASEK are technical modifications of PRK surface laser surgery. Some years ago, doctors expected a lesser pain from these modifications than after PRK and more predictable results than after PRK. However, healing and pain turned out to be longer and stronger after LASEK and epiLASEK than after PRK. Do not confuse LASEK with LASIK - they are quite different methods.

Nowadays all airlines give better prices for early bookings and it can be significant if you book your ticket a week or a month before you come to Prague. Praga Medica recommends you to plan the visit in a way that you can book your flight at least 2 weeks in advance.
Unless you are in a rush, plan your stay in Prague outside of main feasts and holidays like Christmas, Easter, 1st May, July-August. Prices of flights rise significantly for these dates and so accommodation in hotels.
Combine your main treatment with supplement treatments such as dentistry or dermatology treatments for a reduced price. Save money on minor medical and beauty procedures that you would undergo in your country anyway. Use your free time to visit a hairdresser, go to a massage or see a cosmetician. You will pay half price or less compared to what you would pay at home.
