- What currency do I use in Prague?
- The currency of the Czech Republic is the Czech Crown (CZK). Euro is also accepted in some places. The actual exchange rate for Euro is on the left hand side of our homepage. Most of our partner clinics accept credit cards and some even Euro in cash. But you will need some Czech crowns for food and shopping anyway. If you prefer to bring cash and exchange your money in Prague, our representative will recommend you a place with a good exchange rate.

Smart tips for your Prague stay
Save on flights by making a booking as soon as your medical appointment is confirmed. Nowadays all airlines give better prices for early bookings and it can be significant if you book your ticket a week or a month before you come to Prague. Praga Medica recommends you to plan the visit in a way that you can book your flight at least 2 weeks in advance.
Unless you are in a rush, plan your stay in Prague outside of main feasts and holidays like Christmas, Easter, 1st May, July-August. Prices of flights rise significantly for these dates and so accommodation in hotels.
Combine your main treatment with supplement treatments such as dentistry or dermatology treatments for a reduced price. Save money on minor medical and beauty procedures that you would undergo in your country anyway. Use your free time to visit a hairdresser, go to a massage or see a cosmetician. You will pay half price or less compared to what you would pay at home.
