Frequently Asked Questions
- How long after the surgery can I go on holiday to the sea?
- We will be more relaxed if you do not bathe in swimming pools, seawater and natural freshwater for 5 weeks after non-laser surgery. Schedule the surgery with us so that it is no problem. Should it contravene your plans in the form of holiday already paid for, we would probably agree with departure in three weeks after the surgery. But please promise to us that you will protect your eyes with sunglasses, strictly observe hygiene and ensure that neither seawater nor swimming pool water gets in your eyes.

Smart tips for your Prague stay
Save on flights by making a booking as soon as your medical appointment is confirmed. Nowadays all airlines give better prices for early bookings and it can be significant if you book your ticket a week or a month before you come to Prague. Praga Medica recommends you to plan the visit in a way that you can book your flight at least 2 weeks in advance.
Unless you are in a rush, plan your stay in Prague outside of main feasts and holidays like Christmas, Easter, 1st May, July-August. Prices of flights rise significantly for these dates and so accommodation in hotels.
Combine your main treatment with supplement treatments such as dentistry or dermatology treatments for a reduced price. Save money on minor medical and beauty procedures that you would undergo in your country anyway. Use your free time to visit a hairdresser, go to a massage or see a cosmetician. You will pay half price or less compared to what you would pay at home.
